How You Can Help

Be a Hutton Settlement volunteer tutor and assist children in their academic and social development!

• Build quality relationships while being a volunteer tutor for disadvantaged children.
• Become skilled in working with a variety of student age groups (ages 5-18) and abilities.
• Commit to only one to two hours a week based on your availability.  (Children's study hour is from 4:00 - 5:00 P.M., Monday through Thursday).

All volunteers must meet certain qualifications and will undergo background checks.  Volunteer tutors typically  begin at the beginning of a school year, (needing to commit for the entire term) and are matched to the individual needs of available children.
