About Us

Hutton Settlement is an option for children in need of long-term care and permanency planning. Placements may last as short as one year or a child may remain through high school. We strongly believe that children need stability so that they might develop into responsible, healthy adults. Hutton Settlement and it's program have been in existence over 90 years, and there is a stability that might not be possible in short-term foster care. Children’s lives have a consistency with brothers, sisters, friends, and other meaningful adults remaining constant.  It gives them a stable environment  which helps strengthen their growth and development.
